I had heard the figurines break off from their bases so I super glued them before even playing. We love to put them throughout our great room so our almost three year old has to move around to play the game. We have even taken it outside in the grass on a sunny day. The only thing I don't like is that there is no storage box for them so I purchased a storage container for the pieces.

Wild Planet Mickey's Mouse-ke-TAG Specifications

Realistic Disney Character Pieces
The colorful Mouse-ke-TAG parts and detailed pieces will interest children right out of the box. The lightweight, easy-to-hold Clubhouse tagger is shaped like Mickey Mouse. Its durable frame features easy-to-push buttons on the front for turning it on/off and choosing games and levels. The four Mouse-ke-friends, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, and Donald Duck, fit firmly into each base and stand up well. The four friends each have fun, colorful details with an engaging expression.

The game does contain small parts and is a choking hazard for infants so it's not appropriate for children under the age of three. The battery compartment is safely secured with a screw. The speakers are located in the front for very good sound quality.

Advice for parents: you will need a small Phillips head screwdriver to insert the "AA" batteries. Be sure to follow the directions for battery ribbon placement in order to easily replace old batteries with new ones.

Simultaneous Learning and Physical Exercise
It's easy to set up the Mouse-ke-TAG game; simply spread out the Mouse-ke-friends and place them upright on their bases. The Clubhouse tagger calls out different clues depending on the level setting and the player runs to "tag" the correct Mouse-ke-friend by placing the tagger over it.

Children can play Mouse-ke-TAG individually and try to beat their own time or play as a team of up to six players. You can place the Mouse-ke-friends as far apart as you'd like; it's an excellent way to provide some physical exercise, even indoors. Each level promotes a different learning skill: name recognition, learning colors and letters, and recognizing descriptions. All levels develop listening skills and hand-eye coordination, while the group game promotes teamwork, sharing, and turn-taking.

Disney Character Voices Brought to Life
Goofy, the narrator for the Clubhouse tagger, is friendly and appealing, while the voices of Minnie Mouse, Mickey Mouse, and Donald Duck are true-to-character. Kids already familiar with Disney characters will enjoy this realistic detail. Goofy instructs the player on choosing games and levels so it's very straightforward for children to start a game on their own.

The only drawback: there is only one volume setting for the Clubhouse tagger. However, the sound quality is very good and the characters are easy to understand.

Two Bonus Games for Additional Fun
A Treasure Hunt game and Memory Mouse-ke-TAG are included with the game and provide added entertainment. The Treasure Hunt game is a modern twist on Hide-and-Seek. One player hides the Mouse-ke-friends and as Goofy's voice calls out a Mouse-ke-friend, the second player explores the area to find the hidden piece. Goofy lets the child know how long it took to tag all four friends. The treasure hunt game helps teach social skills like sharing, and promotes physical activity.

Memory Mouse-ke-TAG promotes basic memory and listening skills by asking the player to recall the sequence of Mouse-ke-friends that the Clubhouse tagger calls out. Level one is simply the Mouse-ke-friends names. Each level after one adds something new to remember, such as the Mouse-ke-friend's voice, details of their clothes, and letters in their name. You child can play this bonus game individually making it a good travel game.

Every time we passed this jet pack in the store, my die hard Toy Story fan would start pleading for it. As embarrassing as this was (no one--not even a mom--appreciates a gimmie kid), I couldn't helped put be charmed by the idea of this toy. After dozens and dozens of "not today" and "maybe for your birthday", and my daughter's own attempts at using household items to double for a jet pack, I caved when I saw it on Amazon, and that it would ship for free.

The straps are a little flimsy, and the wings are not movable components, but the toy has provided hours and hours of entertainment for her and my one year old who watches. You'll really want to ask yourself if you aren't going to mind your kid running around the house shouting and making electronic noises for hours at a time, but if you can hold out, the extended nap is a pretty decent pay out. With Toy Story 3 coming out, this toy will only increase in popularity and will make for an unbeatable gift for the toddler set.

I wasn't 100% sure that I would be pleased with this, based on a couple of negative reviews, but I am very pleased and more importantly, my 3 year olds are really enjoying it. I would not necessarily consider this a good 'travel' toy, which is what one of the negative reviews was about, but I think looking at the picture of the contents, one would assume that with all the small puzzle pieces, it probably isn't the best car toy! The foam pieces are sturdy, and the cardboard lacing cards are thicker and sturdier than I expected. Also, beads and cards have nice large holes that are easier to manipulate than other stringing beads I've had. My children and I are very pleased!

As you can see from my other reviews building toys are a big hit in our home. My boys love legos but they are just not into them 24-7 like other lego lovers. So we have a variety of different types. Zoobs are one of the well-played with sets in our home. I use building sets to occupy hands and minds while eyes are glued to the television. I really dislike idle staring at the television. So, my solution is not to take television away, but to encourage play while the boys shows are on. Over the years, my boys have become bored "just watching" television and are rarely ever found just watching. Anytime the television is on in ourhome, the boys are sitting playing too. Zoobs are usually on the floor and arew typically a first choice.

Bright colorful plastic "ball and socket" type joints enable a child to create pose-able and articulated figures. I have also used these for pattern making and recognition, as well as math manipulatives in helping the boys with their homework.

75 are not nearly enough though. You need a couple of sets. Ebay is a great source for scoring add ons to this set for less.

We even bring zoobs to reataurants with us to occupy the boys while we are waiting for our food to come. A ziploc bag works great for transporting enough to keep the family occupied.

Another fine building toy that encourages imaginative play!

Trying not to re-hash what others have said, I'll hit the following points:

- Definitely replace the bubbles with your own!!! We gave it a go with the originals just as an experiment - nope (they don't work well with regular bubble wands either, tried that!) and when we replaced it and pushed the mower for a bit, success!

- Expect the bubbles to come out if this is tipped forward. But, it's a bubble toy, we expected that; you should too.

- I didn't read much about the noise of the "running" mower, which my daughter loves because it sounds like it's running and goes for a second after you stop.

- The wheels are pretty sturdy and big enough to run on our very bumpy lawn (by the way, the bubbles DID work on the lawn as well as the driveway, just have to move fast).

- Our daughter loves the rabbit and turtle pictures on the top and will move the switch to each to show if she's going fast or slow. This helped us show her how to go "rabbit-fast" to make the bubbles come out - I suggest you try this if you aren't getting a good bubble stream.

- Finally, even if the bubbles don't work, the sturdiness, noise, switches, non-"goofy" look, and overall quality of this mower makes it a worthwhile buy. After all, it's basically the same price as others.

Purchased the M&D folding horse stable for my four year old grandson. He had received a number of Bruder horses for Christmas. He seemed to enjoy it although not as much as I had imagined. The fence seemed to entertain him as much as the barn, but, my older grandson accidentally backed into it and it broke apart immediately. As cute as it was, the fence design was not very durable. However, the stable seems sturdy and should last a very long time. Just wish it was painted rather than plain.

I purchased this toy for my then 3year-old son (after a moderate amount of comparison and deliberation with similar toys) with the simple goal to help him learn the sounds of the letters better. We've been disappointed with toys that pretend to be adult "toys" but that just don't seem to fool him or make him want to play with them for more then a day or two. So I was skeptical and had low expectations of how well it would entertain him. And to be honest, he barely touched it for the first month he owned it (it was a Christmas present though so he was busy playing with new trains, vehicles, building blocks, and such). Then one day, (because of it's size: it fit in my purse) it went on a doctor's visit with us. And that was it.

I took the time to show him what buttons did what and how to bring up different functions (he remembered a couple) and he has loved the toy ever since. He likes to keep it in the car now and he plays with it almost every day when we're all driving home from work/daycare (which can be a pretty cranky time for him so yay!). He'll also play with it in the morning when he wakes up on the weekends if we put it by the bed after he falls asleep and give us a little extra time before we have to get up.

Educationally, I like this toy as much as he likes it for being fun. He is delayed with his language so I like that it helps him with his letter sounds while playing. We sometimes expand on it and make up our own silly combinations... well, we do but he laughs at them and repeats them, which is the important part. As he gets older, he'll be able to contribute too and we'll be able to really make a game of it. I like that as he gets older and understands more, there will be new functions he'll be able to use on this toy (like the game mode) so it will continue to help him learn and be fun for him for a long time. As a parent, I love toys that have a long play life!

So far this toy has been pretty durable. It has been dropped on concrete and had a 35 lb child stand on it several times without any damage. In general I have been happy with the quality of Leapfrog products and this one is no exception. It is a great toy, both for children and parents.

My 16 month old daughter already had a Radio Flyer Tiny Trike, but she didn't like it because her feet kept bumping into the front wheel assembly whenever she tried to scoot. I was really impressed by the videos on youtube of the 3 year old riding this push bike ride-on toy. Initially, 50 dollars seemed like a lot for a chunk of plastic so I looked around for something like it and closest was the Winther Mini Viking Safety Scooter, but the Winther costs 0!

The great thing about the SuperMOPI is that it is just about perfect ergonomically for 1.5 year old. It's lightweight, so easy for a toddler to maneuver. The wheels are fast and the steering is incredibly intuitive and responsive, which makes it really fun. I would recommend this toy over any tricycle.

This gun is by far one of the best Nerf guns that they've put out. Even if this gun came with a regular magazine and they hadn't even thought up the drum magazine... it would still be one of the best. The drum magazine with huge dart capacity just puts this gun over the top with how awesome it is. I had a battle outside with a friend who had just bought the Nerf Longstrike sniper rifle. I was a bit worried cause of how big his gun was, but I totally OWNED him. My gun kept shooting, and shooting, and shooting, and when I thought I was out I still had like 4 shots left haha. It shoots really straight, really far, and it's really great. I have been a fan of Nerf for a while, and have modded many guns to improve their quality, and I'd have to say this is by far one of the best guns out of the box that shoot well besides the revolver Nerf Maverick.

Pros:
Drum Magazine (huge capacity!)
Pump action means you never have to take your hand off the gun to cock it, so you never lose sight when shooting an opponent.
Slam Fire mode means you hold down the trigger, and just pump the gun and it shoots really fast. Although you lose accuracy.
Retractable Stock is removable and can be put on other guns, like the Recon. Plus it looks like a real gun stock.
Comes with lots of darts!

Cons:
With the bulky drum magazine, it leans to one side when you hold it, but if you let it rest on your arm, it doesn't matter.
Didn't come with any other accessories for the railing system like a sight or anything.

Get this gun, it's one of the best Nerf guns yet.

Maximum Firepower and Versatility
The CS-35 features a durable plastic frame, intended for intense play. It is based a classic Tommy gun design, complete with a drum magazine. This magazine can be used as an accessory with any other compatible N-Strike blasters. The CS-35 comes with an adjustable stock, which you adjust to fit the length of your arm. Apparently they do not show the right picture with this but this review is for the item listed above. This is a cute little kit that is fun and easy to travel with. I use it while on road trips. It has semi-soft foam pieces that are magnetic and have two sets of cards that are fasened to the book. It is very conveient. The only downside is that it only has about 24 or so puzles and I have done them all. I came up with the idea of using the cards for the Classic tangoes game I have and punching holes in them then attaching a binder ring so that I could attach it to this kits binder. That way I will have more challenging puzzles. Lots of fun. I have the objects puzzles too, haven't had a chance to work with these though.

My two year old also enjoys playing with it with me. She does not know how to do any of the puzzles persea but she enjoys putting the pieces to fit next to one another.

There's a discrepancy in the size that I did not notice. Under product dimensions it says: 18x10x3. This is the part that I saw. However, under Product Features it says "8 inch pink pig," and "measures 8 inches long." This part I did not see. I was expecting a much larger stuffed animal and was very disappointed when I received this tiny one. Basically, this is just one of those Beanie Baby stuffed animals. I took out a tape measure and the actual dimensions are more like 7x3x4. Just make sure you realize it's NOT 18x10 before you order. Otherwise, for a Beanie Baby it's very good and very cute.

My daughter loved How To Train Your Dragon, and had to have a dragon of her own soon after seeing it. She decided on the mini talking Night Fury here. It's a great little stuffed dragon, and provided that you get it for the original retail price or less, is worth the money. He's not that big- about the size of the mini plush Pokemon, and when you smack him, he lets out a mighty roar. It's just one sound, no variations, but it's not like the dragons had many sounds in the movie to pick from. The eyes, nostrils and mouth are sewn well, and the claws, wings and 'fins' on the tail are thick felt. Not much is going to mess up this guy.

The only thing you'll need to be careful with is if Night Fury gets dirty. Because of the voice box inside, if it gets damp at all, there'll be a problem. 'could be a small one that goes away after a few hours, or it could ruin the talking feature completely. So if there's a spot on it at all, take a damp wash cloth, wring it out so no water drips, and -then- rub it out. But because he's blue, it's going to be hard to see any spots on him anyway.

If your child loved the movie, or even just Night Fury, this would be a cool small present for them. It doesn't 'do' much aside from the one sound, but hey, they're getting their own baby dragon that roars. And that's pretty cool.

A little smaller than expected, but it's fine for our young daughter. If you need a large box for tons of toys, this is not for you! We got this for her bedroom. A good bedroom accessory due to it's size and decor. The murals are very pretty and I thought it nicer in person than in the picture. I am very happy with it. My husband felt it was small, but I think it's a reasonable size for a little girls' bedroom and will be pretty at the foot of her bed.
The lid shuts slowly and will stay open at whatever angle you leave it in, so no pinched little fingers! It seems somewhat sturdy, my 3 yr old son climbs in it, stands on it, etc. without any safety concerns- no shakiness or wobbling. It's MDF, not Little Tikes plastic, but is well made for what it is. I think the cost is a little high, but I am happy with the purchase. 100% Recommended. Would give as a gift.

I received these book a few days ago, and as soon as I pulled them out of the box my kids were all over them. They are made of heavy duty cardstock 10 pages each and, as the picture doesn't show very well, each book comes with it's own crayon box with 6 crayons in them. The only down side (Why this only gets 4 stars)is that the crayon box is open faced (to see the colors I presume) and my 2 yr. old managed to tear it in just moments of contact. I fixed it with a couple of pieces of tape.

I let my kids color in them to their hearts content, then took a paper towel and easily wiped off the color.

3 of the books are about animals with simple stories written below so you can read them to your kids. (If they'll listen)

The fourth book is "now I know my ABCs" so your pre-k or kindergartner can practice on this one.

Because it's all self contained I take them with us to restaurants, long drives and camping. Definitely worth the price in my opinion.

On the plus side, fairly realistic figures that, unlike most/all other sets, don't look like war and fighting is their only occupation. It's nice to be able to give a 6 years old figures that behave a bit peacefully and in somewhat realistic everyday life situation. On the minus side, the scale is awful. I understand this is a standard feature of Toob (see the Space toob for instance), but some excess could be improved. Good for diorama though. Haven't see the paint peel off after a few weeks.
Bottomline: my 6 year old son liked it and it looks safe and durable enough.

Here he is, the one remote control car made to be very authentic to the RC in the Toy Story film series, using PIXAR's own computer data for his design. This is the RC all the collectors are after, and for good reason. RC is fantastic, beautifully detailed, and he's fully operational too! He looks and sounds like he came right out of the movies! As with all these film accurate toys, yeah, there are a couple of inaccuracies, but most wouldn't notice them offhand. RC's got a fifth wheel under his body that allows him to turn and lift himself up. This fifth wheel is the main complaint stickler's of film accuracy have had about him so far, along with some folks who just don't like the idea of an RC car that can't turn its front wheels. Another inaccuracy is the remote, which has Forward and Reverse modes rather than Turbo, On, and Off (as in the films), and also includes a series of 4 buttons below the steering wheel that are not in the films. However, the general look of the remote is exactly like the film besides these tiny details changed for the sake of RC's functionality. Of course, many collectors aren't thrilled when film accuracy is sacrificed for play features. There are other RC toys out for the kiddies. As was mentioned, all the Toy Story Collection certificate of authenticity toys have problems like this, but they are still pretty amazing looking for us collectors, and the special play features are still fun, especially in a case like this, a remote control car. RC can do all kinds of stuff. A bit reminiscent of the R2-D2 interactive toy, RC has various fun modes like Explore, Talk, Talk Back(MIC ON/OFF feature), Follow, and of course the regular R/C mode. In the Explore Mode, RC will wander around on his own, very rarely bumping into anything thanks to his infrared sensors. If he does bump something, he has a good shock-absorbing front bumper to send him the other way. In Talk Mode, RC will do expressive movements and sounds (honking, spinning, shaking excitedly, and stuff like that), and in Talk Back Mode, he'll respond to your voice with such things. Then, there's the Follow Mode, which relies on your voice, something that never works perfectly well with interactive toys, but still works okay and is fun when it does. Basically, RC will come to you and follow your voice, you just have to be pretty loud. The four small buttons on the remote control these features, and the steering wheel and forward/back lever along with the trigger are how you do the basic R/C stuff.

Now, I notice there have been a lot of complaints here on Amazon about this toy, mainly I think from parents who bought this toy for their small children. Perhaps some or even all these cases are truly a matter of getting a defective RC, but I can't help but wonder since my RC worked quite well as soon as I loaded it with batteries. By the way, he takes 6 AA batteries, plus three AAAs for the remote. Something that might be confusing for some is that RC's different modes, including a sleep mode to preserve battery life, take some studying to get to know. I mean, one might think RC is ignoring them/not working when he is just in sleep mode or the wrong mode for what they want him to do. There are a lot of RC toys out there, and the fact is, this one is the one geared for older kids and collectors. You REALLY have to study the instructions on this one. For example, if you leave RC idle long enough to enter sleep mode, you have to press a button on the back of the car to wake him up. If you didn't notice that in the instructions, you might think he just quit working and never get him going again. There's also the Play, Off, and Try Me switch under the car. When you remove RC from his box, not only do you need to add batteries (and the 4 inside, just enough for the Try Me button and not enough for full play mode, are probably usually almost played out), but you also have to switch him from Try Me to Play. Switch him off when not using him for a while if you really want to save the batteries. Anyway, all these modes and buttons can make it easy to see why some unhappy folks may not have gotten a defective RC after all, though perhaps some did. Anyway, if you get a functioning one and read the instructions, I think most people will be very happy with this RC! Just remember that he is intended for indoor use only, and not for shaggy carpet. In fact, since his extra wheel is rather small, even on short/new carpet it can pick up fibers after a while. So, though he works well on tight, short carpet, be sure to check his third wheel out and clean off any carpet fibers that have collected after play.

The Toy Story Collection RC, the only one to get if you care about accurate size and appearance to the one in the Toy Story films, can be identified by its unique package design and its mention of included Certificate of Authenticity. That C.O.A. is how you know you are getting a Toy Story Collection toy and not one purely made as a plaything for kids. The desert road art on the package is meant to make it look like the package RC might have been in when Andy first got him rather than a toy based on a film. Unfortunately, as with all toys in this collection, these lovely packages have their fantasy nostalgia effect ruined by the Toy Story logo still being placed on the front. Oh well, saving packaging isn't the best idea anyway, though Woody's and Buzz's boxes look so cool except for that logo! Pricey and in need of batteries and practice using the instructions as a guide, RC is really for older kids and collectors, and for younger kids I recommend something cheaper and less complicated. However, if you're getting this for a real Toy Story fan who will appreciate its film accurate details as much as its cool features, I can highly recommend RC as probably the must fun toy in this excellent line. And, if you are a big fan that is new to this collection, the other toys released so far are Woody, Buzz, the Alien 3 pack, Rex the dinosaur, and the bucket o' soldiers. All of them have a small inaccuracy or two, but all of them are also the most amazing and accurate Toy Story toys released to date. Just make sure to look for the C.O.A. mention on the packaging, as there are cheaper versions out there of all these toys. And, so far, images have been released of upcoming Jessie, Bullseye, Utility Belt Buzz, Hamm, and Potato Head toys for this line, plus the new Lots-O'-Huggin' Bear character from Toy Story 3. Here's hoping we eventually see those released, and more! I've gotten all of them so far, and believe me, they look even more awesome when displayed together!

The Banshees were my favorite creatures in the movie, so I had to get this when I found it.

Pros: Very detailed, about a 13" wingspan, with beautiful markings. It comes with a nice stand, for when it's not flying about and terrorizing my... I mean, your family and friends. It seems pretty durable too, because it is made of a tough plastic like a bike helmet. It could probably withstand being dropped numerous times. The only parts that move are the neck and the head.

Cons: You do have to assemble it, so a little bit of patience is necessary. Once it's assembled though, it's staying that way. It's hard to make the Neytiri figure I have ride it, partially because the antennae-things get in the way.

I can't comment on the i-Tag, because I don't have a webcam and can't access it.

Despite being in college, I've been having a lot of fun actually playing with this. I suspended it from a stick with some fishing line and have been flying it around marionette-style, using it to buzz my pets and family. I plan on suspending it from my ceiling at college, so it can "fly" above my by bed while I sleep.

I've seen on the i-Tag website that there are plans to release Tsu'tey's Banshee as well. Because I like this one so much, I'd buy that as soon as it comes out. I hope they also make Neytiri's Banshee (it has nice markings).

This is a nice little vacuum for the kids. Both of mine have one and they love to get it out while I vacuum. We have had them a year now and the kids still enjoy playing with them. The vacuums seem to be pretty decent quality since nothing has broken yet! This is just the cutest toy you can buy. I love that I can wash all the pieces. My 10 month old loves to play with all the little pieces. The plush saw and hammer seem to be his favorite! The drill has a pull string at the bottom of it and it vibrates, extremely cute! My only con would be the little plastic tool box... its not very useful and it rarely gets much play. I wish it was made of mesh instead of plastic as well (would seem safer). Its just not a solid piece so it doesnt stay open for my son to be able to put pieces in and out of it. The turtle is a little smaller than I expected, but my 2 year old has no problem riding on it and he's 37 inches tall. I love all the sounds the turtle makes--they're funny and cute, and best yet, not very loud (unlike so many kids toys).

The caster wheels are fantastic--my little one loves to spin and can reverse direction on a dime. Much better than traditional wheeled toys!

My son wanted to add this ship to his Playmobil Pirate collection. It has a lot of small pieces to keep track of (or bag and use when kids are older). I've put quite a few Playmobil ships and sets together, so most of the work was easy, but I did find this set of instructions harder to follow than others. I bought this for my five month old son to get him started with blocks. To sum up this set with one word, I'd have to use CAPTIVATING. The ball seems to move around by its own force and my son can't take his eyes off it. The ball is also stackable and will easily balance itself on the spiral cylinder. I like to take the green donut and place the spiral cylinder in the middle of it. When I roll it toward my baby, he likes to punch the middle out. Suprisingly, the ball is also stackable and will easily balance itself on the spiral cylinder. I think the HABA character is really cute, but, when my son is faced with a choice, his favorite is the car. He took least notice of the mirror block and the HABA character, but everything else held his attention. This set is so much fun because there is not only alot of details on the blocks for a baby to discover (as far as sound, look, and feeling), but there many creative ways to use these besides stacking them. Endless amount of fun to imagine and then re-imagine. We're definately fans!

I feel like I'm always reading reviews for toddler things where adults receive the item and it's smaller than they expected. (Ironic, as measurements are usually provided.) I purchased this item for my son when he was 18 months old with size in mind, and knowing I would watch him closely as the 3-year-old recommendation age is most assuredly due to safety. My son adored this tricycle as soon as he discovered it Christmas morning. He couldn't reach the pedals or the floor, but he would sit on it and try to make it go, or push it around our house. His feet finally reach the ground when he's in it now (and almost two.) It's been perfectly safe at this early age as I closely supervise my son anyway, with him having a heart condition. I highly, highly recommend this product, I'm a big Plan Toys fan! :)

This toy entertained my husband for hours. Unfortunately, the 3-year old girl we got it for was scared of it. Her 5-year old sister wasn't scared of it but only played with it a few minutes. Of course, it was Christmas day and it wasn't her present. I wish I had found a more girly make-your-own puppet, but this is the only one I can find. This puppet is well-made, super cute, and bigger than I thought it would be. I'll post a picture of it. It may prove to be a great toy if fears wear off.

This was my son's #1 want for Christmas. And he carries it everywhere (and would sleep with it if we let him). The toy itself is very durable and my 9 yr old sees no wrong.

My complaint is with the packaging. Even though the rifle comes in a box, there was a UPC on the stock of the gun, that caused a mark on the finish when you removed it. Also, for some reason they used a nail to attach the gun to the package. This caused a real blemish on the gun stock when we pulled it out with a hammer. As I said, my son sees no wrong - but he doesn't see the clothes on the floor when I tell him to clean up his room. I just wish that for the money spent they had used product packaging that didn't permanently damage the gun.

The reviews are accurate for the catagories given, but I would give it 2 stars for the packaging that damaged it.

Wow, I am amazed that so many people didn't give this a higher rating.

First off, it is a toy. I do not expect adult quality and durability when I purchase a TOY. Second, it's not expensive. How can you expect a functioning camcorder, compass and spotting scope for the price of a toy?

My favourite thing about this item is the EASY TO OPEN packaging. It was out of the packaging in one minute. When you have kids and have to open a lot of their toys, you know what a pain in the behind those loss-prevention packaging inventions can be. Torturuous! This was a box with a plastic shell to keep the items in place, with one plastic band to keep the lid of the backback closed. Plastic, not a wire tie. Easy to undo.

Now, the toys. This comes with a plastic compass. The top of the compass turns, but the face does nothing. The camcorder has the side screen that pops out, and you can look through the viewfinder. The 'spotting scope' is a kaleidescope! This is fun for kids, more fun that just looking through plastic. Then, there is a map. It's heavy duty vinyl. And the backpack itself is nice. The clasp to open is easier than the one on the Rescue Pack. The talking mouth takes no effort to make it speak. You don't have to press hard at all. And the handle is on there securely.

This is a really great item for the Dora fan in your life. Imaginative play is essential for children, and this is a great tool.

This is a fantastic toy, one of my favorites in the Plan Toys line, and we own more than a few of them. I don't mean just fun for the kids; my husband and I like playing with it also!

My children, two and four, were immediately taken with it. We haven't yet played it as a 'game' but that's really just a bonus interpretation of its uses anyway. It's fun to just stack it in really precarious ways (ie. those other than what's pictured) and see how long you can keep it from toppling while building it up as tall or wide as possible. If you were to build the cactus, as is pictured, it is very attractive and proves to be quite stable. This is nice for shelving the toy when I'm too busy to supervise my youngest with it. The real challenges are not in building what is expected, but are self-imposed; pushing the limits of what can be balanced atop this generally stable base.

This toy/game consists of a total of 19 pieces that fit together with a peg-and hole system. Each progressively smaller piece has less holes, and the coral-orange pieces have no holes, and so cannot be built upon. Another reviewer mentioned that the pegs fit loosely in the holes and this is true. A piece will often swivel downward from the weight of a successive piece. This doesn't bother me, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Here are the pieces that come with this set, and their measurements (information that seems difficult to come by per my observation before ordering):

- 1 Unfinished Wooden Base (5 holes): 3.5" tall x 2.5" (widest point at top) 1.5" (at bottom)
- 3 Large Dark Green Pieces (3 holes): about 3.25" tall x 1.75" wide
- 3 Medium Green Pieces (2 holes): 2.75" x 1.5"
- 3 Medium (Slightly Lighter) Green Pieces (2 holes): 2.75" x 1.5"
- 3 Small Red Pieces (1 hole) 2" x 1"
- 3 Small Yellow Pieces (1 hole) 2" x 1"
- 3 Small Coral-Orange Pieces (0 holes) 2" x 1"

Of note, especially with the many reviews stating that kids under three love this toy, is that the age recommendations are spot on. If you allow a younger child to play with this toy, it is important to be mindful of the fact that the smaller pieces are precisely the right size to cut off their airway if they were to accidentally swallow one.

Other than that already assumed issue I think this is a wonderful toy with the potential to be enjoyed by young and old alike.

Here's what's in the box: (1) A painted wood "real playing toy piano" that is 16" wide, 10" front-to-back, and 12" high. It weighs 13 pounds. This is model 2522W in white; elsewhere on Amazon you can buy 2522R in red or 2522P in pink. (2) A cut-to-fit strip that fits above the 25-key keyboard with "C" in red, "D" in orange, etc. (3) A 12-page "Play By Color" book having 10 songs with musical notation in which a rectangle around each note is color-coded to the strip.

As of this writing, the 4 ratings of this item are 2, 3, 4, and 5 stars, so I'll cast a tie-breaking vote by giving it 4 stars. The downsides are: (a) Since the manufacturer's Web site claims that "lovely chime-like notes are produced by little hammers striking precision-ground, German steel music rods," I was expecting a pleasant celesta-like sound. Instead, you get a slightly irritating timbre more like a toy metal xylophone (i.e., a toy glockenspiel) with each bar having a rubber band lightly wrapped around it to dampen the note. And the pitches are ever so slightly out of tune. (If you want to hear samples of the music people can make with the product, search for "Schoenhut" on YouTube.) (b) It's advertised as "tabletop," but putting it even on a low table is too high for a 2-3 year old who will probably sit on the floor to play it (as depicted on the back of the box). (c) It cost more than I would have expected for something made in China.

Nevertheless, it's a lot of non-electronic fun for kids. It seems well-constructed; although it probably wouldn't survive a crash from six feet onto a hard surface, it should be fine for the rough-and-tumble of toddlers on carpeted floors. And unlike many plastic toys, it is adorable sitting in the corner of the room. Buy this from Amazon.com!

This is a very easy toy. The battery took a little time to figure out. You have to just pull the entire wheel assembly from the furry body then have a small philips screw driver to unscrew the battery holder. It is just a round piece of plastic that goes over the battery once installed to prevent the batter from falling out.

It gets around pretty good. It uses 1 AAA battery.

When not in the ball it steers toward the left and will get stuck but in the ball he just keeps rollin and it looks super cute.

It does make some sound. Enough that our older cat did not want to play with it too much a little curious but that about it. We have more fun with it then the cat! lol.

I also saw the t-rex, allosaurus, and velociraptor in a store and opted for the Spinosaurus for a present for my son. He is a huge dinosaur lover and we have so many dinosaur toys, these are by far the best. They are so beautifully done, way better than the Carnegie models. They are also very durable, they can be played with not just looked at. We will definitely be getting the rest of these.

My grandson loves the Vtech books. The pages are easy to turn and he likes the interactive buttons. I purchased this one not realizing it was recommended for 3 and up. It has a button for each letter and you can switch between saying the letter, the sound of the letter, and a word that starts with the letter. It will also read the story on each page. While I think he would enjoy pushing the buttons at 18 months, I am going to wait to give it to him when he is showing an interest in learning his letters. I want it to be fresh and new to him at that time. Meanwhile, he can enjoy the other Vtech books I have purchased for him.

All of the How To Train Your Dragon 30+ inch plush figures are "A+" licensed items. They have a simple, endearing quality to them that most children should love (if they liked the movie, or dragons, for that matter.)

The reason this particular stuffed toy is so expensive is that it, and most other "How To..." items, are in a way "limited edition." Why? Because the merchandising rights are a Wal-Mart exclusive. So yes, you might have bought this Night Fury at Wal-Mart for , but that's the only place *anyone* could buy it from. Not from Target, K-Mart, and not even Toys 'R' Us. Unfortunately, that means when these guys are gone, they're gone. Thus the quickly-skyrocketing price.

Sold by Castle Toy Inc, marked FunTime, and made in China in any case, this looks identical in appearance and description (but not price!) to the Learning Resources Pretend and Play Tape Measure. Please note that this product is independently tested for lead in Hong Kong by TUV*, not sure if that is true for the Learning Resources one.

Even within the Castle Toy/FunTime listing, this tape measure appears to come in multiple color schemes (how you specify here on Amazon I have no idea!). Amazon shows two options: (1) Blue/yellow outer/inner case with red knob and tab, and (2) Red/blue outer/inner case with yellow knob and tab. We have two other ones: (3) Yellow/blue outer/inner case with red knob and tab, and (4) Red/yellow outer/inner case with blue knob and tab. Phew!

This is a very good toy, especially at half the price! Most kids' tool sets do not include a tape measure, so this is perfect. Cool ratcheting sound, accurate measurement (3-ft limit), bright colors, carrying handle. Right-handed function. The clown sticker is a little silly (and random).
